Investment Associate (Trade Execution Specialist)

Description

RBC Dominion Securities in Maple Ridge is seeking an Investment Associate (Trade Execution Specialist) to join a successful investment team. The role primarily involves executing trades and assisting with various aspects of portfolio management and client service processes.

What We're Looking For

Execute portfolio changes (trading execution),

Exchange foreign currency when needed,

Review cash balances (debits & credits) for investment or debit coverage for discretionary and non-discretionary accounts,

Execute all other trading for team members (e.g., post client review portfolio changes, monthly AFT & RIF payments, on off EFTs & bank wires),

Bridge between administrative team and investment team,

Assist with analyzing client & prospective client portfolios, and developing investment recommendations to meet objectives,

Review and maintain Private Investment Management (PIM) Dashboard, ensuring client accounts comply with their current Investment Policy Statement (IPS),

Review and execute on any reorg notices,

Utilize social media skills to update the team's communication channels (websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, newsletters),

Assist with client administration and servicing,

Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) or willingness to complete within 12 months

Ideal Candidate

Must-have:

Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) or willingness to complete within 12 months,

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills,

Strong Microsoft Office skills,

Nice-to-have:

4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry,

Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving and analytical skills,
