Description

RBC Dominion Securities is seeking an Investment Associate for its Newmarket branch. This role involves supporting a Portfolio Manager in executing and monitoring investment portfolios, contributing to the development and refinement of model portfolios, and preparing investment analysis and reporting to support client reviews, proposals, and presentations. The successful candidate will also maintain awareness of market conditions and investment opportunities, leveraging internal and external research, and ensuring high standards of accuracy in documentation.

What We're Looking For

Support day-to-day execution of portfolio changes and ongoing investment management.,Monitor portfolios, conduct rebalancing, and contribute to tactical asset allocation adjustments.,Assist in the development and refinement of model portfolios.,Prepare investment analysis and reporting to support client reviews, proposals, and presentations.,Maintain awareness of market conditions, trends, and investment opportunities through internal and external research.,Leverage research from RBC Portfolio Advisory Group and RBC Capital Markets to support portfolio positioning.,Ensure high standards of accuracy and consistency in documentation and reporting.,Contribute to the delivery of an exceptional client service experience by supporting the broader team in their advisory roles.

Ideal Candidate

Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) must-have.,Strong interest and knowledge of financial markets and investment products must-have.,Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) must-have.,Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures nice-to-have.,CFA or CIM an asset.,Experience in discretionary trading an asset.
