Carry out prospecting to develop your client base.
Draw up retirement plans and personalized strategies for clients.
Work closely with financial advisors in branches as a specialist on investment and retirement.
Coach financial advisors on topics such as pension plans, retirement, tax consequences of a divorce or death, complex retirement products (LIRAs, LRSPs, RRIFs, LIFs), annuities, retirement benefits and severance pay.
Lead various client conferences on investment and retirement planning issues.
Monitor market developments and stay informed on new trends.
College diploma, university certificate, bachelor's or master's degree in a related field.
Mutual fund representative (MFR) licence.
Business development experience.
Excellent knowledge of investment products.
