Description

The Investment Analyst role at National Bank Financial – Wealth Management involves strategically managing client investments. Key responsibilities include analyzing and tracking various securities (individual stocks, ETFs, investment funds), creating and regularly updating model portfolios, monitoring performance, producing financial reports, staying updated on economic news, assisting managers with new client recommendations, and actively contributing to bi-monthly investment committee meetings. This position is part of a team of portfolio managers.

Analyze and track individual stocks, exchange-traded funds, investment funds and other securities that may be included in investment portfolios,Create and regularly update model portfolios,Track portfolio performance,Produce financial reports,Stay up to date on the latest economic news,Help managers prepare recommendations for new clients,Contribute actively to the preparation of bi-monthly investment committee meetings

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field,Three years of experience in the securities industry,Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH),CFA and/or CIM designation,Knowledge of Croesus 8+ asset
