As an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, you will empower clients to achieve their financial aspirations. This role offers the unique opportunity to establish and grow your own business under the esteemed RBC brand, leveraging the institution's comprehensive resources and steadfast support. Your core responsibilities include cultivating a robust client base comprising high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, adeptly managing their intricate financial requirements, crafting bespoke investment portfolios, and nurturing enduring, multi-generational client relationships.

What We're Looking For

Exhibit excellent people and problem-solving skills to effectively build and maintain client relationships.,Demonstrate a self-starter mentality with a strong drive to deliver meaningful financial advice, aiding clients in achieving their life goals.,Proficiently build and expand a client base consisting of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners.,Utilize RBC's extensive investment and wealth management resources to develop customized portfolios and comprehensive wealth plans.,Cultivate trusted, long-term relationships with clients, often spanning multiple generations.,Establish and maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners, including Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance, to ensure holistic client support.,Possess 4-6 years of outbound sales experience.,Comfortable with a compensation structure that is 100% commission-based.,Demonstrate a passion for financial planning and a keen interest in portfolio management.,Exhibit strong relationship-building skills and an ability to connect effectively with diverse individuals.

Ideal Candidate

Completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or will complete it prior to start date.,Nice to have: Experience in a direct marketing role, financial services, and demonstrated success in high-value sales and business development.,Nice to have: Completed the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH).,Nice to have: Personal Financial Planner (PFP).,Nice to have: Chartered Investment Manager (CIM).,Nice to have: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
