This Investment Advisor role at RBC Dominion Securities focuses on helping clients achieve their financial goals while building and managing your own financial advisory business. The position involves leveraging RBC's strong brand and resources to establish a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, creating customized investment portfolios, fostering long-term relationships, and collaborating with RBC partners to provide comprehensive financial solutions. You will be a self-starter, driven to provide meaningful financial advice.

What We're Looking For

Build and maintain strong client relationships,Be a self-starter with a proactive approach to business development,Provide strong financial planning and advice to help clients achieve life goals,Build and manage a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners,Manage complex financial needs for clients,Utilize RBC's extensive investment and wealth management resources,Create customized portfolios and wealth plans,Foster trusted, often multi-generational, long-term relationships through personalized service,Establish and maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners like Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance

Ideal Candidate

4-6 years of outbound sales experience,Comfortable earning 100% commission,Completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE) or will complete prior to start date,Passion for financial planning and keen interest in portfolio management,Strong relationship building skills and ability to connect with diverse individuals,Nice to have: Experience in direct marketing, financial services, and demonstrated success in high-value sales and business development,Nice to have: Completed Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
