Description

The role of an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities involves building and managing a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. The advisor will provide financial planning and advice, create customized portfolios, and foster long-term relationships using RBC's extensive investment and wealth management resources. It's an entrepreneurial role within the RBC brand, with support and resources provided.

What We're Looking For

Excellent people and problem-solving skills to build and maintain client relationships.,Self-starter with a drive to help people reach financial goals.,Ability to leverage RBC's brand and resources to build a client base and manage complex financial needs.,Foster trusted, often multi-generational, long-term relationships.,Establish and maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners such as Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance.

Ideal Candidate

4-6 years of outbound sales experience.,Comfortable earning 100% commission.,Completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE) or will prior to start date.,Passion for financial planning and a keen interest in portfolio management.,Strong relationship building skills and an ability to connect with all types of individuals.,Nice to have: Experience in a direct marketing role, financial services and shown success in high value sales and business development, regardless of industry/discipline.,Nice to have: Completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
