As an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, you will help clients achieve their financial goals while building and growing your own business. The role requires strong people and problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and a drive to provide meaningful financial planning and advice to help individuals reach their life goals. You will leverage RBC's brand and resources to build a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, managing complex financial needs and fostering long-term relationships.

## Compensation Details

Base salary with unlimited earning potential through commission. This role requires comfort with a 100% commission compensation structure.

What We're Looking For

Candidates will be responsible for building a high-net-worth client base using RBC Dominion Securities' reputation, leveraging RBC's investment and wealth management resources to create customized portfolios and wealth plans, fostering multi-generational client relationships with personalized service, and establishing reciprocal relationships with RBC partners like Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance to ensure comprehensive client support.

Ideal Candidate

Requires 4-6 years of outbound sales experience. A passion for financial planning, a keen interest in portfolio management, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to connect with diverse individuals are essential. Experience in direct marketing, financial services, and demonstrated success in high-value sales/business development are a plus.

Minimum Education

Completion of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE) is mandatory, or completion prior to the start date. Completed Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations are desirable.
