The Investment Advisor role at RBC Dominion Securities focuses on helping clients achieve their financial objectives. Responsibilities include building and managing a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, utilizing RBC's extensive investment and wealth management resources to develop customized portfolios and wealth plans. The advisor is expected to cultivate long-term, multi-generational relationships and collaborate with RBC partners to ensure comprehensive financial support for clients.

What We're Looking For

Build and maintain strong client relationships,Be a self-starter with a proactive approach,Driven to provide meaningful financial planning and advice to help clients achieve life goals,Leverage RBC Dominion Securities' brand and reputation to attract and manage complex financial needs of high-net-worth clients,Utilize RBC's investment and wealth management resources to create tailored portfolios and wealth plans,Foster trusted, often multi-generational, long-term relationships through personalized service,Establish and maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners (e.g., Personal & Commercial Banking, Insurance) to support clients' full financial lives

Ideal Candidate

4-6 years of outbound sales experience and comfort earning 100% commission,Completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE), or commitment to complete prior to start date,Passion for financial planning and a keen interest in portfolio management,Strong relationship building skills and ability to connect with diverse individuals,Nice to have: Experience in direct marketing, financial services, or proven success in high-value sales/business development,Nice to have: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations
