Description

As an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, you will help clients achieve their financial goals while building your own business with the support and resources of RBC. This role is ideal for self-starters with excellent people and problem-solving skills, who are driven to provide meaningful financial planning and advice to help individuals reach their life goals. You will build and manage a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, creating customized portfolios and wealth plans using RBC's extensive resources. Success involves fostering long-term relationships and collaborating with RBC partners to provide comprehensive financial support to clients.

What We're Looking For

Build a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners and manage their complex financial needs.,Leverage RBC's investment and wealth management resources to create customized portfolios and wealth plans.,Foster trusted, multi-generational, long-term relationships through personalized service and advice.,Establish and maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners (e.g., Personal & Commercial Banking, Insurance) to ensure clients are supported across all financial aspects.

Ideal Candidate

4-6 years of outbound sales experience.,Comfortable earning 100% commission.,Completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE) or will complete prior to start date.,Passion for financial planning and keen interest in portfolio management.,Strong relationship building skills and ability to connect with diverse individuals.,Nice to have: Experience in direct marketing, financial services, and demonstrated success in high-value sales and business development.,Nice to have: Completed Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
