As an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, you will help clients achieve their financial goals. This role offers the opportunity to build your own business with the support and resources of RBC. The ideal candidate possesses strong people and problem-solving skills, is a self-starter, and is driven to provide meaningful financial advice and planning. You will build a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, managing complex financial needs and creating customized portfolios and wealth plans by leveraging RBC's extensive resources. The role involves fostering long-term, trusted relationships and collaborating with RBC partners to ensure comprehensive client support.

What We're Looking For

Build a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners.,Manage complex financial needs of clients.,Leverage RBC's investment and wealth management resources to create customized portfolios and wealth plans.,Foster trusted, multi-generational, long-term relationships through personalized service and advice.,Establish and maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners (e.g., Personal & Commercial Banking, Insurance) to support clients in all financial aspects.

Ideal Candidate

4-6 years of outbound sales experience and comfort with 100% commission-based earnings.,Completion of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE) or willingness to complete prior to start date.,Passion for financial planning and keen interest in portfolio management.,Strong relationship-building skills and ability to connect with diverse individuals.,Nice to have: Experience in direct marketing, financial services, and demonstrated success in high-value sales and business development.,Nice to have: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations.
