This internship at National Bank involves supporting the commercial financing team, working with Account Managers to provide financing solutions to clients. The role focuses on credit analysis, financial structuring, and collaboration with various business partners to positively impact the organization. The position is available across three teams: National Accounts, Creative industries and pharmacies, and Commercial and Private Banking Services.
Analyze maturing loans according to internal standards and provide tailored recommendations.
Structure credit applications in collaboration with Account Managers, focusing on risk mitigation and developing responsible financing scenarios.
Integrate comments from account teams to ensure file compliance regarding profitability, presentation quality, and risk assessment.
Negotiate credit terms and conditions with the Credit Centre, jointly with the Account Manager.
Collaborate with business development, support, and internal partners to identify cross-selling opportunities.
Contribute to credit setup objectives for new financing and actively participate in process improvement projects.
Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Administration (2nd or 3rd year) or a related Master's degree (in progress).
Good understanding of banking products, systems, and services (an asset).
First experience or strong curiosity in financial analysis, accounting, or risk management.
