Description

RBC Insurance is seeking highly motivated and entrepreneurial individuals for their Field Sales team. This role involves providing comprehensive life insurance planning and advice to existing referrals and new RBC client acquisitions. Advisors will utilize RBC Insurance's suite of products to offer solutions tailored to client needs, supported by internal partners for client relationship deepening and ethical sales practices. The role emphasizes client connection, business development, and achieving individual sales goals within a team-oriented culture.

What We're Looking For

Connect with clients through discovery to understand life events and offer comprehensive insurance and financial advice.,Independently prospect, develop, and grow a new book of business through outreach, networking, and strategic relationship-building.,Promote a client-first mindset in a digital environment, meeting clients conveniently.,Develop and deepen client relationships using Salesforce and other customer tools/electronic forms.,Contribute to team sales success by achieving individual sales goals.,Increase external networks by capitalizing on market opportunities and referrals from approved centers of influence.,Regularly review individual business results and adjust activities to meet established targets.,Deliver on RBC's vision to be a trusted and successful financial institution.,Business development and prospecting skills with a goal-oriented attitude and strong ambition to succeed.,2+ years' professional sales experience.,Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.,Life/A&S License (HLLQP/LLQP), or willingness to complete before start date.,An existing network of referrals and approved centers of influence.,Post-secondary degree or equivalent.,Digital literacy using a variety of systems and tools.,Valid Canadian driver's license and own vehicle required for travelling to meet clients within a designated area.

Ideal Candidate

Life/A&S License (HLLQP/LLQP), or willingness to complete before start date.,Post-secondary degree or equivalent.,Industry Designations Preferred: CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), CHS (Certified Health Insurance Specialist).
