This role at RBC Insurance Advice Centre offers a balance of work flexibility and career fulfillment. The successful candidate will receive training and support to obtain the necessary Quebec Damage Insurance Certificate and Ontario Other than Life insurance license. As a licensed Insurance Advisor, the individual will provide expert home and auto insurance advice and options to clients over the phone, focusing on exceptional client experience, problem-solving, and contributing to sales goals through proactive recommendations and internal referrals.
Provide insurance advice and solutions based on client needs through inbound calls.,Ensure a consistent, positive client experience and resolve concerns at the first point of contact.,Conduct personalized needs assessments and reviews using available tools.,Demonstrate a solid understanding of regulatory risk in underwriting and updating home & auto insurance policies.,Effectively use procedures during client conversations.,Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners as part of the RBC team.,Willingness and ability to successfully obtain the Quebec Damage Insurance certificate (l'Autorité des marchés financiers) and the General Insurance License for Ontario (Other Than Life) and other provinces.,Bilingualism (English and French) with a high level of reading, comprehension, and speaking in both languages.,Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.,Flexibility to work all shifts within the hours of operation (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 8:30pm).,Digital literacy across a broad range of services (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).
