Instrument Mechanic

Description

As an Instrument Mechanic at Saputo, you will be a key member of the Maintenance team, responsible for routine and preventive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and building systems in a clean and safe environment. This role involves inspecting, testing, installing, repairing, and calibrating process control instrumentation such as transmitters, controllers, analyzers, and control valves. You will ensure proper functioning of instruments used for controlling factors like flow, temperature, pressure, and material levels, and will be involved in commissioning and other related duties.

What We're Looking For

Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults using pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments.,Installation and repair servicing of process control instrumentation such as transmitters, controllers, analyzers and control valves.,Perform daily preventative maintenance by inspecting and testing the instruments and systems in use.,Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturers specifications and troubleshoot and tune industrial processes.,Commissioning and performing other duties as required.

Ideal Candidate

Certified Red Seal Journeyman Instrument Mechanic.,Excellent mechanical skills and ability to carry out general plant/ equipment maintenance.,Food industry or high speed packaging experience.,Proven proficiency and dependability in current position with a good safety record.
