HH Angus, a leading consulting engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Building Electrical Engineer for their growing regional office. This role involves working on diverse projects in mission-critical systems, public transport, secure facilities, healthcare, offices, and airports. The successful candidate will report to a senior manager and collaborate with an experienced team, contributing strong electrical engineering skills to high-quality design and career advancement within the industry. What We're Looking For

Provide individual contribution as a seasoned professional,

Develop technical designs for a wide variety of projects that may have technical complexity, high value, and require many trades,

Independently create conceptual drawings and design specifications, and regularly evaluate constructability,

Independently develop and approve standards and reports,

Contribute to project plan development, participate in project planning and management meetings, and make improvement recommendations to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met,

Review the work of junior engineers on conventional projects,

Perform own work within budgeted hours,

Assume responsibility for all design fields until construction completion,

Work autonomously to solve difficult and sometimes complex problems,

Supervise construction work on sites,

Other responsibilities, as needed

Ideal Candidate

University degree in Electrical Engineering,

10 years or more experience in consulting engineering,

Licensed member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec),

Perfectly bilingual,

Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit,

Forward-thinking with a desire to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas,

Good documentation and accuracy skills,

Ability to collaborate and work effectively with different teams, including multidisciplinary teams,

Passionate about buildings and the built environment

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
