Opportunity to join a dynamic team at HH Angus, a recognized engineering consulting firm. The role is for a Senior Building Electrical Engineer in their expanding regional office, working on diverse projects in mission-critical systems, public transit, secure facilities, hospitals, office buildings, and airports. The position offers career advancement and collaboration with industry professionals.

What We're Looking For

Provide individual contributions as a seasoned professional.

Develop technical designs for a wide variety of projects that may be technically complex, high-value, and require multiple trades.

Independently create conceptual drawings and design specifications, and regularly evaluate constructability.

Independently develop and approve standards and reports.

Contribute to the development of project plans, participate in planning and project management meetings, and formulate recommendations for improvement to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.

Review the work of junior engineers within the framework of conventional projects.

Complete own work within budgeted hours.

Assume responsibility for all design fields until construction completion.

Work autonomously to solve difficult and sometimes complex problems.

Supervise construction work on sites.

Other responsibilities, as needed.

Ideal Candidate

University degree in Electrical Engineering.

10 years or more of experience in engineering consulting.

Licensed member of OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec).

Perfectly bilingual.

Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.

Forward-thinking with the desire to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas.

Good documentation and accuracy skills.

Ability to collaborate and work effectively with different teams, including multidisciplinary teams.

Passion for buildings and the built environment.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
