Information Security Specialist (US) - AI Vulnerability Specialist

Description

This role supports the identification, assessment, and management of AI model vulnerabilities across the organization. The specialist will contribute to processes for continuous detection, classification, and remediation of AI-related risks, ensuring secure AI system operation. Responsibilities include performing model assessments, operating scanning tools, and assisting in documenting and communicating risks to stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Define, develop, and/or implement Technology Controls / Information Security related policies, programs, and tools.,Provide specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps, and providing security solutions to mitigate risks.,Participate in projects of moderate to high complexity.,Provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line, or enterprise level.,Support vulnerability management activities, including assessment, prioritization, or remediation workflows.,Perform model assessments and operate scanning tools.,Assist in documenting and communicating risks to relevant stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree preferred.,Information security certification / accreditation an asset.,7+ years of relevant experience.,Expert knowledge of IT security and risk disciplines and practices.,Demonstrated success in building AI vulnerability management programs.,Understanding of AI/ML lifecycle stages.,Familiarity with AI/ML model architectures, pipelines, and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit learn).,Knowledge of cloud-based AI platforms (AWS Sagemaker, Azure AI, GCP Vertex AI).,Exposure to AI security tooling or model-specific vulnerability assessment techniques.,Working knowledge of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response or similar SecOps workflows.,Understanding of AI related security frameworks and emerging threat vectors.,Experience in regulated industries or familiarity with applicable standards (e.g., FFIEC, GLBA, GDPR, PCI DSS, NYDFS Cybersecurity Regulation).,Advanced security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent).
