This role at Lightspeed Commerce Inc. focuses on transitioning identity capabilities from a project-based to a product management-based model. The analyst will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, utilizing a blend of business analysis, Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, and access governance best practices, collaborating closely with the IAM Product Manager to ensure successful global access services.
Partner with the IAM Product Manager to translate the roadmap into clear epics, user stories, and priorities.
Maintain and groom the IAM backlog based on business value, risk reduction, and stakeholder input.
Consolidate requirements from Security, IT, application owners, and auditors into a structured backlog.
Support preparation of materials for governance forums and stakeholder updates.
Lead or support requirements sessions to understand access needs, risks, and edge cases.
Translate business and regulatory requirements into functional requirements, user stories, and process flows.
Document current-state and future-state IAM processes (e.g., access requests, approvals, roles, certifications).
Contribute to reusable IAM standards, patterns, and playbooks.
Work with application owners and Security to define onboarding requirements for IGA and PAM tools.
Capture integration requirements, including authentication patterns, role models, and joiner/mover/leaver behavior.
Help standardize application intake templates and onboarding expectations.
Maintain IAM governance documentation, standards, and exceptions.
Support access certification campaigns, including planning, communications, and tracking.
Produce reports on IAM adoption and control effectiveness, and support change enablement through communications and training.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, CISA, CISSP) are a plus.
Experience in a Business Analyst or similar role in complex technological environments.
Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles, practices, and technologies.
Experience participating in IAM implementations or upgrades, including application onboarding, role/entitlement design, and access certification campaigns (e.g., SOX).
Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements into clear user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Bachelor's Degree
Must be willing to work hybrid (3 days/week) from Montréal or Toronto offices.
