Human Resources Generalist (Halifax)

Intelcom | Dragonfly, a leader in last-mile logistics in Canada, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for its Halifax operations. The role focuses on employee relations, conflict management, HR policy implementation, internal mobility, performance management, workplace accident file management, HR compliance, working conditions administration, employee experience, and HR reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in labor relations and conflict management and will support managers across various stations to ensure a healthy and high-performing work environment.

What We're Looking For

Work closely with managers to support employee relations management and proactively resolve conflicts.,Support managers in managing, engaging, and developing their teams, ensuring a healthy and high-performing work environment.,Participate in the development and implementation of internal procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with labor standards.,Monitor changes in employee status, as well as manage promotions, transfers, and internal mobility.,Contribute to performance management by providing support in evaluations and attendance management.,Manage and track workplace accident files, including preparing documentation for internal and external audits.,Ensure the application of human resources management principles and organizational strategies within the service center and stations.,Manage the administrative aspects of working conditions and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.,Contribute to improving the employee experience and promote a positive work environment.,Produce statistical reports on HR performance indicators and analyze them to support strategic decision-making.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.,Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, with strong expertise in labor relations and conflict management.,Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and managers at all levels.,Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.,Strong proficiency with office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).,Experience with HR management systems, including HRIS platforms such as Workday and Dayforce (an asset).,Rigorous, autonomous, creative, and able to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic and demanding environment.
