Description

The Human Resources Business Partner will join the Human Resources & Advisory Services team, providing HR expertise and consulting on functions such as performance management, rewards, talent management, and employee relations. This role supports Capital Markets and the Office of the CEO, translating business needs into HR solutions, modernizing HR policies, and equipping managers with the necessary tools to support their teams. The role operates within a hybrid work model, requiring 1-3 days per week on-site and the remaining days remote.

What We're Looking For

Consult with managers to ensure decisions align with CIBC values, HR policies, and legislative requirements.,Collaborate with HR groups to resolve complex workplace and performance management issues, coordinate compliance and audit reviews, and escalate risk issues.,Understand client group priorities and operating environment to develop and implement HR plans aligned with business strategy.,Align talent-related practices and resources with client group's purpose and CIBC priorities.,Support and coordinate HR initiatives for performance management, talent planning, and compensation reviews.,Manage HR transactions for Capital Markets and Office of the CEO leaders, including requisition creation, transaction approvals, and exit interviews.,Generate reports and dashboards to provide actionable analytics for informed decision-making and operational effectiveness.
