Head of Strategy, Product and Business Operations – Hybrid Cloud & Intelligent Operations

Description

This leadership role involves spearheading the end-to-end strategy, product direction, and operational excellence for Hybrid Cloud & Intelligent Operations (HYCIO). The successful candidate will be accountable for strategic planning, platform product strategy and adoption, financial discipline (FinOps), and operational governance, working closely with engineering teams to ensure platform investments align with measurable business outcomes.

What We're Looking For

Key responsibilities include leading annual and multi-year strategy development for Hybrid Cloud and Intelligent Operations, translating strategy into measurable outcomes, driving portfolio alignment, and establishing governance. The role also involves owning platform product strategy and roadmaps, ensuring customer needs are met, overseeing customer success, and providing accountability for cost transparency and value realization (FinOps). Leading the business operations function, including planning support and process improvements, and acting as a key operating partner to the SVP, HYCIO, are also crucial.

Ideal Candidate

Candidates must have 12–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology strategy, product management, platform organizations, or transformation. Proven experience operating at enterprise scale within cloud, infrastructure, or platform environments, strong financial acumen (budgeting, investment governance, cost management/FinOps concepts), and demonstrated experience leading multi-functional teams and senior leaders are required. The ability to translate complex technical initiatives into business outcomes and executive narratives is essential. Experience in regulated industries or financial services is preferred.
