CIBC is seeking a Group Product Manager to join their Lending Products team within Transaction Banking. This role involves supporting the Director in achieving business objectives, managing relationships with internal partners, and overseeing product management and projects related to Lending and Trade products, including government support programs. The manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing profitability and client experience for their assigned product portfolio, as well as leading the development of specialty lending programs for specific segments and industries. The role emphasizes maximizing market share, conducting competitive reviews, developing product roadmaps, monitoring service level agreements, and communicating business strategy to stakeholders. Collaboration with internal partners and leadership in key initiatives and project development are also key aspects of this position.
Take ownership of the assigned product portfolio, focusing on maximizing market share and profitability through revenue collection, competitive reviews, and cost management.,Develop product roadmaps and recommendations for Transaction Banking's overall business plan.,Define criteria to monitor on-going compliance to established service level agreements and ensure service levels meet or exceed client expectations and competitor standards.,Communicate business strategy and initiative updates to stakeholders via presentations.,Act as a focal point for product and market information, providing specialized support for client solutions during the sales cycle.,Provide subject matter expertise to internal business partners for stakeholder support, business cases, requirement documents, product collateral, and communications.,Contribute to strategy, annual business plans, and development of recommendations and business cases for client programs.,Accountable for delivery of key initiatives related to assigned product portfolio.,Lead in the development of options and proposals for product enhancement and development projects, making recommendations on impact, effectiveness, and feasibility.,Develop recommendations inclusive of research market activities to ensure timely and comprehensive knowledge of technology, target market segments, and key clients.
Experience in Lending, Trade, and Government products, with preferred experience in managing products.,Strong knowledge of strategic planning with demonstrated project delivery skills and understanding of CIBC's network and operations.,Ability to think and act as a Product Owner, taking responsibility for client interaction with financial services products and constantly improving client experience.,Digitally savvy, seeking innovative solutions and embracing evolving technologies.,Strong analytical skills, capable of understanding and drawing conclusions from data.,Experienced in building financial models and conducting/understanding credit risk analysis.,Values building effective working relationships and collaboration.,Client-focused, engaging with purpose to find solutions.,Adheres to CIBC values: trust, teamwork, and accountability.
