Description

The Group Advantage Consultant role at RBC is within a business segment offering various retirement savings products like Group RRSPs, Deferred Profit Sharing Plans, and Pooled Retirement Pension Plans, combined with expert advice directly to workplaces. This mobile consultant position focuses on building relationships with business clients and delivering Group Retirement Savings and Financial Wellness programs, with a strong emphasis on lead generation and sales activation. It also involves identifying referral opportunities and championing RBC Group Advantage with partners and in the market.

What We're Looking For

Anchor clients to Group Retirement Savings and Financial Wellness programs (60% lead generation, 40% sales activation),Identify referral opportunities for Mortgage Assistance and Capital Loan Programs,Champion the RBC Group Advantage value proposition with partners and in the external market,Build and maintain relationships with senior managers across Canadian Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management,Enable activities resulting in the acquisition of new Group Advantage Sponsors,Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends

Ideal Candidate

Strong prospecting, networking and business development skills,Excellent relationship building skills (internal and external),Independent, entrepreneurial and self-management skills,Experience creating a referral network and an extensive network of “centres of influence”,Designation as a Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) and/or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) OR willingness to complete RPA within 18 months of start date,Excellent presentation, communication, time management and organizational skills (nice-to-have),Highly developed PC and mobile literacy with demonstrated digital capability using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power point) (nice-to-have),Action oriented and creative business acumen (nice-to-have)
