The Graphic Designer for RBC Global Asset Management will join the creative team to develop the company's visual identity across various client touchpoints. This role involves translating strategic brand directions into impactful design assets for marketing collateral, social media, digital experiences, video content, infographics, and internal communications. The designer will play a key role in bringing the brand to life through compelling visuals.
Translate strategic brand direction into compelling visual assets across all channels, ensuring alignment with RBC GAM's market positioning.,Collaborate with marketing, product, and communications stakeholders from concept to execution, applying creative problem-solving and design expertise.,Design and produce high-impact collateral including presentations, fact sheets, infographics, email campaigns, video content, web assets, and event materials.,Contribute to the evolving design system and brand standards, ensuring visual consistency and compliance while fostering innovation.,Partner with internal teams, building strong relationships and championing design excellence.,Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies, including web frameworks, motion graphics, animation, and video production.,Manage projects efficiently through established studio workflows, maintaining clear documentation, organization, and version control.,Prepare design assets to production-ready standards for print, digital, or web deployment, ensuring technical specifications and brand integrity.
Bachelor's degree or similar / strong educational background in Design, Visual Arts, or a related / relevant field,5+ years of related design experience in a highly regulated (e.g. financial services, medical, etc.) professional services environment,Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and Microsoft Office with the ability to produce polished, production-ready assets,Strong foundational knowledge of graphic design principles: typography, colour theory, layout, and visual hierarchy,Demonstrated portfolio showcasing diverse design work across multiple mediums (print, digital, web),Proven ability to execute within brand guidelines while applying creative judgment to solve visual challenges,Understanding of design systems and their role in maintaining consistency across touchpoints,Experience translating business objectives into compelling visual communications,Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across marketing, product, and communications teams,Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving business needs,Experience following a workflow within a project management platform such as Asana, Workfront or Wrike,Working knowledge of print production specifications and digital/web asset requirements,Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute fresh perspectives that elevate visual work,Experience with motion graphics, animation, or video editing software (After Effects, Premiere Pro) (Nice-to-have),Knowledge of web design tools (like Figma, Webflow) or front-end development basics (Nice-to-have),Background in financial services, asset management, or investment communications (Nice-to-have),Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in marketing communications (Nice-to-have),Familiarity with investment industry terminology and audience expectations (Nice-to-have),Experience designing for B2B or institutional audiences (Nice-to-have),Experience in globally distributed team environments (Nice-to-have),Understanding of accessibility standards (Nice-to-have)
