Global Security Operations Center Specialist

Description

The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Specialist at TD Bank is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of employees, visitors, vendors, and bank assets, adhering to the Bank Protection Act. This involves monitoring for threats, reporting and triaging security incidents, evaluating results, and ensuring departmental goals are met. The role also requires following GSOC policies and procedures and making recommendations on critical incidents.

What We're Looking For

Monitor and identify security threats, trends, and incidents affecting TD Bank personnel, facilities, operations, and reputation.,Write detailed reports, including critical incident escalation.,Handle sensitive and confidential information with limited supervision.,Consult with all risk functions in the development and documentation of policies, procedures, and controls.,Coordinate security guards and paid police details as needed.,Actively monitor and facilitate the occurrence of security related incidents.,Assess threats based on incoming data and make decisions based on findings.,Participate in Physical Security projects including Physical Security technology, employee photo identification, card access, and video monitoring and retrieval.,Monitor access control systems and take actions in response to an alarm, breach, or malfunction.,Appropriately respond to security operations notifications and requests made by internal and external parties.,Liaise with emergency medical services, the fire department, and law enforcement in the event of an emergency.,Support onsite contract security staff.,Conduct open source research to answer specific questions and develop intelligence products.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.,Relevant work experience preferred.,Ability to work within a 24-hour department with a rotating schedule.,Shift work experience in a 24-hour operation preferred.,Ability to deal with high pressure situations (security events etc.) (Preferred).

Minimum Education

Work Hours

40 hours/week; 2nd shift onsite from 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM.
