Global Payments and Deposit Operations (Future Opportunities)

Description

This posting is for future opportunities within TD Bank's Global Payments and Deposit Operations team in Singapore. The role involves contributing to the evolution of payment processes, handling a high volume of daily transactions, and providing excellent service. The team includes functions like payment investigation, wire payment operations (CLS), and message filtering for sanctions compliance. Candidates will be considered on an ongoing basis as suitable roles become available.

What We're Looking For

Provide initial support for email and SWIFT inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.

Investigate and resolve issues within the payment process, monitoring and following up on all investigations.

Accurately process and verify investigation cases, transactions, or sanction screenings with minimal supervision.

Support the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures in line with Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.

Report and escalate any identified risk issues or process gaps.

Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Business Continuity Planning (BCP) testing, and other ad-hoc projects.

Identify and implement efficiencies to improve processes and minimize risk.

Demonstrate strong teamwork, providing feedback and guidance to colleagues.

Build and maintain relationships through clear communication, persuasive language, and active listening.

Ideal Candidate

At least 2 years of relevant operations experience.

Strong understanding of SWIFT.

Proven customer service skills.

Good time management and ability to prioritize effectively based on risk and time criticality.

Highly driven and capable of working under pressure in a time-sensitive environment.

Innovative mindset to improve processes and minimize risk.

Risk awareness, attention to detail, meticulousness, and strong follow-up skills.

Proven ability to adapt and execute in various situations.

Work Hours

40 hours/week, 10:30am – 7:00pm / 11:30am – 8:00pm, 5-day work week
