Saputo is seeking a General Laborer to provide safe and efficient production support. This role involves contributing to high-quality product manufacturing, investing in people, and supporting communities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, the ability to work in a team, and a passion for the job, with a focus on accuracy and organization in a complex operational environment.
Provide safe and efficient production support (hand-stacking, case packing, housekeeping, product conveying, reclaim).,Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP's) in detail without deviation.,Set-up packaging coders and validate product codes.,Identify and effectively communicate out-of-specification product conditions.,Perform routine equipment adjustments using various hand tools.,Safely operate a lift truck, moving materials as needed.,Accurately complete production records and documents.,Assist with equipment change-overs, CIP/SIP, clean-up, and equipment set-up.,Perform department environmental controls, product reclaim, rework, packaging, and stacking operations.,Support internal and external audits.,Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures, GMP's, and Food Safety requirements.,Cross-train with other departments.,Maintain good housekeeping within established guidelines.,Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics, Company Values, and Workplace Climate Policy.,Work collaboratively in a team environment.,High school diploma or equivalent or one year of demonstrated work experience.,Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehousing, or dairy food manufacturing preferred.,Good math skills.,Proficient computer skills, software, and data entry (SAP a plus).,Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check.,Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.,Good attendance is a must.
