This role involves providing hands-on support for FX and related derivatives applications used by the Capital Markets business in the APAC region. The analyst will offer front office support, collaborate with other teams for product lifecycle support, and coordinate with global technology teams. Key client offices are in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Sydney, with relationships also needed in London and Toronto.
Provide expertise in applications used by the FX front Office, understanding system inner workings and analytical methods in RBC APAC offices.
Operate as a technical and application Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the FX / Capital Markets division, assisting with technical/application and trading issues, including new initiatives and existing enhancements.
Follow local and global operating procedures, particularly Change Management and Incident procedures.
Deploy and test new releases, ensuring system integrity in the region.
Participate in Global Projects and work closely within an integrated FX team.
Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge/experience and ensure efficient issue resolution and smooth system operation.
Liaise directly with end users, global teams, and vendors.
