Responsible for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and acquiring new business customers in the hospitality sector to closing deals. The role involves actively seeking new clients, understanding their needs, and positioning Lightspeed software as a solution. This is a target-driven sales role focused on exceeding revenue goals.
Find new customers through phone and email outreach, and schedule product demonstrations.,Consult with clients to understand their needs and present suitable Lightspeed solutions.,Build trusted relationships with customers from initial contact through the sales process and beyond.,Negotiate terms and close sales deals.,Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to enhance the customer experience.,Achieve or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.,Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales activity data in the system.
Minimum 1 year of experience in active (outbound) sales or a direct customer contact role.,Experience in IT, software, e-commerce, or POS systems is an advantage.,Prior experience in the hospitality industry is a plus (but not required).,Comfortable with cold calling.,Ability to remain calm under pressure.,Strong organizational and time management skills.,Persistent and not easily discouraged by rejection.,Excellent listening and persuasive communication skills.,Team player.
