Mandy's Gourmet Salads is seeking a Front of House Team Captain to contribute to a vibrant, health-focused restaurant environment. This role involves working closely with the General Manager and kitchen team to oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensure high standards of service and food quality, and foster a positive guest experience. Collaborate with the General Manager and kitchen team to create a positive work environment.,Support the General Manager in meeting daily FOH operations and sales objectives.,Manage inventory and food processes, including orders, quality, waste, safety, and hygiene.,Execute daily shift planning and assign tasks to the FOH team.,Act as a role model and enforce company policies and procedures.,Provide guidance and supervision to FOH team members on operational and procedural matters.,Assist in developing FOH team members through continuous feedback and goal follow-up.,Prepare and lead daily FOH team rallies.,Plan and manage the daily FOH team break schedule.,Partner with the Back of House Team to monitor guest wait times and resolve complaints.,Submit daily reporting requirements (e.g., Shift notes, Cash Management).,Assist General Manager in the recruitment process for new FOH team members.,Continuously review FOH operations for improvement opportunities.,Execute administrative tasks as requested by the General Manager.
High-School Diploma or equivalent.,Previous sales experience.,1 year of leadership/supervisor experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting (preferred).,Degree in a culinary field or the hospitality industry (asset).,Ability to quickly grasp facts, analytical mind, facility with numbers, attention to detail, and decision-making ability.,Team spirit, leadership, and good communication skills.,Confidence, integrity, ability to manage stress, energy, autonomy, initiative, flexibility, and a focus on quality and organization.,Comfortable in fast-paced and continuously changing environments.
