The Front of House Team Captain will work with passion and integrity to support the General Manager in daily operations, foster a positive work environment, and ensure excellent guest experiences.
Collaborate with the General Manager and kitchen team to create a great work environment.,Support the General Manager in meeting daily FOH operations and sales objectives.,Ensure inventory and food management processes (orders, quality, waste, safety, hygiene) are met.,Execute daily shift planning, organization, and implementation of operational routines and activities for the FOH team.,Act as a role model by enforcing company policies and being a product knowledge expert.,Supervise and guide FOH team members on operational and procedural matters (e.g., VIP experience, menu knowledge).,Assist the General Manager in developing FOH team members through continuous feedback and goal follow-up.,Prepare and run daily FOH team rallies.,Plan and manage the daily FOH team break schedule.,Partner with the BOH team to monitor guest order wait times and resolve guest complaints.,Submit daily reporting requirements (e.g., Shift notes, Cash Management).,Assist General Manager in the recruitment process for new FOH team members.,Constantly review FOH operations to identify improvement opportunities.,Execute administrative tasks as requested by the General Manager.
High-School Diploma or equivalent.,Previous sales experience.,1 year of leadership/supervisor experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting (preferred).,Ability to quickly grasp facts, analytical mind, facility with numbers, attention to detail, and decision-making skills.,Team spirit, leadership, and good communication skills.,Confidence, integrity, ability to manage stress, energy, autonomy, initiative, flexibility, and a focus on quality and organization.,Adherence to and enforcement of company policies and compliance needs.,Comfortable in fast-paced and continuously changing environments.,Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.,Computer/tech savvy (e.g., Google Workspace).,MAPAQ certification and first aid training (asset).,Possess a degree in a culinary field or the hospitality industry (asset).
