This role involves working collaboratively with the General Manager and kitchen team to manage daily front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and hygiene. The Team Captain will also support staff development, manage inventory, and handle guest interactions to maintain a positive work and customer experience.
Collaborate with General Manager and kitchen team to create a great work environment.,Support General Manager with daily FOH operations and sales objectives.,Ensure inventory and food management processes (orders, food quality, waste, safety, hygiene) are met.,Execute daily shift planning, organization, and implementation of operational routines for the FOH team.,Act as a role model, enforcing company policies and being a product knowledge guru.,Supervise and guide team members on operational and procedural matters.,Assist in developing FOH team members through feedback and goal follow-up.,Prepare and run daily FOH team rallies.,Plan and manage daily FOH team break schedules.,Partner with BOH Team to monitor guest order wait times and respond to complaints.,Submit daily reporting requirements (shift notes, cash management).,Assist General Manager in recruitment for new FOH team members.,Constantly review FOH operations for improvement opportunities.,Execute administrative and other tasks as requested.
High-School Diploma or equivalent.,Previous sales experience.,1 year of leadership/supervisor experience in a restaurant, retail or hospitality setting preferred.,Degree in a culinary field or the hospitality industry (asset).,MAPAQ certification and first aid training (asset).
