The industrial refrigeration technician will be responsible for receiving and processing service calls, performing maintenance and repairs on air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems. Key duties include making recommendations for equipment compliance, preparing commissioning reports, maintaining inventory of materials and tools, adhering to safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with environmental refrigerant standards.
Receive and process service calls or dispatches.,Perform maintenance and repair of air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.,Propose recommendations to ensure existing equipment compliance.,Conduct commissioning reports.,Perform periodic updates of inventory for necessary materials and tools.,Follow work rules and procedures and apply the LS health and safety program.,Ensure compliance with environmental standards for refrigerants.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.,Completed a CSST construction site safety course.,Professional Studies Diploma (DEP) in Refrigeration.,CCQ Journeyman Refrigeration Competency Certificate.,Knowledge of DDC control (an asset).,Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems (an asset).,Emploi-Québec TAG 1 or TAG 2 gas appliance technical certificate (an asset).
