Saputo Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator in Caledonia, WI. This role involves performing trailer inspections, loading and unloading products using RF scanners, accurately receiving and putting away inventory, ensuring quality of outbound shipments, and completing daily Powered Industrial Truck inspections. The operator will ensure compliance with food safety, quality regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices. This position requires active participation in training and prompt reporting of any safety or quality hazards.
Perform trailer inspections for inbound and outbound orders, ensuring proper security and temperature requirements.,Load and unload products using Radio Frequency (RF) scanners, ensuring accuracy and completeness of paperwork.,Work closely with shift supervisor, quality control, and inventory control to address discrepancies.,Correctly receive products, verifying case counts, code dates, pallet counts, and condition, and recording damages.,Ensure overall quality of outbound shipments, including correct weight distribution, accuracy, and compliance.,Put away received product into storage, replenish pick locations, and perform full pallet picking for customer orders.,Complete daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspection and report any concerns.,Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Saputo's food safety, quality programs, and regulatory requirements.,Promptly report all potential quality, food safety, and workplace safety hazards to management.,Attend and participate in all required training, shift meetings, and committees.,Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.,Ability to work the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays.,Basic math knowledge.,Demonstrated work history.,Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment.,Ability to meet physical demands: stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds unassisted frequently.,Ability to work in cold environments and around moving equipment.,Good visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors.
