This position is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of finished goods, ensuring accurate inventory control using first-in/first-out (FIFO) methods, and operating material handling equipment like lift trucks and pallet jacks. The role involves operating automated warehouse management software, performing trailer inspections, and maintaining detailed shipping/receiving records. It also includes supporting rework/repack operations, environmental controls, audits, and adhering to safety, GMP, and food safety standards.
Safely load and unload finished goods according to customer orders and specifications.,Maintain accurate inventory control using FIFO methods.,Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment (lift trucks, pallet jacks, electric battery handling equipment).,Operate automated warehouse management software, inventory scanning, and management tools.,Perform safe and efficient loading and unloading of trailers, including refrigerated trailers, following internal/external requirements.,Follow FIFO and inventory control practices and procedures.,Operate stretch-wrapping and palletizing equipment (if applicable).,Perform pre and post load inspections of trailers.,Effectively communicate with internal and external customers.,Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOP's) without deviation.,Perform equipment safety pre-operational inspections.,Accurately complete warehouse shipping and receiving records and documents.,Perform department environmental and housekeeping controls.,Perform product rework and repack operations.,Support internal and external audits.,Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures, GMP's, and Food Safety requirements.,Cross-train with other departments.,Comply with federal, state, and local dairy food regulations.,Adhere to the Saputo code of ethics and values.,Work professionally in a team environment with coworkers.
Experience in warehouse operations (preferred).,Experience operating a lift truck (preferred).,Ability to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck certification (training provided).,Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check.
