The Financial Services Representative at CIBC works within the Personal and Business Banking team in a banking centre. Key responsibilities include building strong client relationships, understanding their financial and personal goals, and providing customized financial solutions and product recommendations. The role also involves engaging in marketing activities, growing professional networks, and helping clients utilize mobile banking applications to manage their finances effectively.

Meet with clients to understand their personal and business priorities and provide advice on solutions.,Develop forward-looking financial plans, leveraging knowledge of cash management, credit, investment, and wealth protection.,Participate in marketing and outreach initiatives to foster client and community relationships.,Expand professional networks and deepen existing client relationships, collaborating with team members to connect clients with appropriate opportunities.,Become proficient in technology and educate clients on the use of mobile banking applications.

Ideal Candidate

Current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada).,1 year of experience working with clients and achieving sales results.,Prior banking experience in a similar capacity is considered an asset.

Special Commitments

Must be flexible to work banking centre hours, which may include evenings and weekends. Requires flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance. Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location(s) and possess a valid work or study permit where applicable.
