As a Financial Services Representative at CIBC, you will be part of the Personal and Business Banking team, working in a banking centre to build relationships with clients. Your role involves understanding their financial goals, providing tailored advice, and recommending suitable products and solutions in cash management, credit, investment, and wealth protection. You will also engage in outreach activities, leverage technology to assist clients with mobile banking, and contribute to a positive client experience.
Meet with clients to understand personal and business priorities and advise on financial solutions.
Utilize knowledge of cash management, credit, investment, and wealth protection.
Engage in marketing and outreach to build and deepen client relationships.
Introduce clients to mobile banking applications and other technology.
Be flexible to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends.
Be flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.
Current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada).
1 year experience in working with clients and achieving sales results.
Prior banking experience in a similar capacity (asset).
37.5 hours/week, may include evenings and weekends
Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends. Must be flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.
