The Financial Planning Analyst, as part of RBC's Family Office Service (FOS) team, is responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning solutions. This includes acting as a primary financial planner for centralized services and partnering with Financial Planning Specialists across regions. Key duties involve preparing and continually developing proprietary 'Compass' financial plans, with a focus on tax, retirement, and estate planning strategies.
Prepare comprehensive personal financial plans, including client objective determination, current situation analysis, and developing appropriate advice and strategies.,Stay current with financial planning standards and practices.,Identify, introduce, and follow up on opportunities for complimentary businesses and solutions.,Maintain a high level of partnership and knowledge across all RBC units.,Contribute ideas and participate in development projects to enhance services.,Provide ongoing coaching and training to other professionals in Wealth Management Services.
CFP or PFP Designation,Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning,In-depth understanding and knowledge of the Canadian taxation system,Working knowledge of financial planning software (Conquest),Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and adaptability to fast-changing software,Accounting designation (Nice-to-have)
