Financial Advisor/Financial Services Specialist (MFDA)

Description

As a Financial Advisor within the Personal and Business Banking Team at CIBC, you will be responsible for building and managing a dedicated client portfolio. This involves strong relationship management, providing comprehensive financial services support, and delivering exceptional client service. You will act as a primary contact for clients, helping them with financial planning, investments, lending, and estate planning to meet their current and future goals. The role also requires flexibility to work various banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

Ideal Candidate

1 – 3 years experience in providing financial advice to clients and establishing relationships while achieving performance targets.,Certified professional (MFDA) with current accreditation and good standing in Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC) and eligibility for MFDA licensing.,For Quebec: Certified professional with current AMF licensing, successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).,Asset: Completion of CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
