Description

As an RBC Financial Advisor, you will build and grow relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. This involves providing proactive, professional advice on everyday banking, investments, and credit, collaborating with RBC partners, and supporting clients through their financial goals and life events. You will also champion digital enablement and implement strategies for client acquisition and retention within the community.

What We're Looking For

Consistently demonstrate empathy, kindness, and understanding in client and colleague interactions.

Effectively communicate to uncover client needs and deliver client-centric advice and solutions.

Proactively resolve client concerns at the first point of contact.

Leverage RBC's ecosystem and partners to meet clients' full range of financial needs.

Provide professional advice and education on complex credit and investments, ensuring appropriate solutions.

Champion digital enablement, educating clients on self-service and encouraging digital interactions.

Utilize technology for virtual and face-to-face client connections.

Implement effective contact and relationship-building strategies for new client acquisition and retention in the local community.

Collaborate with financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts.

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).

For Canada (excluding Quebec): Completed Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation through the Canadian Securities Institute (e.g., Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I).

For Quebec: Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance through the Canadian Securities Institute (e.g., Fundamentals of Personal Finance – Quebec, Investment and Taxation Fundamentals – Quebec, Insurance and Retirement – Quebec).

Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.

Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).

Active in developing a solid network in the local community (Nice-to-have).
