Description

As an RBC Financial Advisor, you will build and grow relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. The role involves providing proactive, professional advice across everyday banking, investments, and credit, helping clients achieve their financial goals. You will collaborate with RBC partners to offer comprehensive advice, addressing both complex personal and business financial needs.

Consistently demonstrate empathy, kindness, and understanding in all interactions with colleagues and clients.,Communicate effectively to uncover client needs and deliver client-centric advice and solutions.,Utilize personal advice capabilities and the RBC ecosystem to meet clients' entire suite of financial needs.,Provide professional advice and education on complex credit and investments, ensuring solutions are appropriate.,Champion digital enablement by educating clients to self-serve and encouraging digital interaction.,Implement effective contact and relationship-building strategies to accelerate new client acquisition and retention in the local community.,Collaborate with market-leading professionals in financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking.

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).,For Canada (excluding Quebec): Completed Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation (e.g., Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I).,For Quebec: Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance (e.g., Fundamentals of Personal Finance – Quebec, Investment and Taxation Fundamentals – Quebec, Insurance and Retirement – Quebec).,2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments.,Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).,Second language skill (Nice-to-have).,Active in developing a solid network in the local community (Nice-to-have).
