The Financial Advisor Manager (FAM) is responsible for leading, managing, and developing a team of Financial Advisors within an assigned market. This involves recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and supervising daily activities to ensure compliance and drive sales productivity. The FAM will also cultivate partnerships with retail and other internal stakeholders to generate referrals and enhance client relationships.
Direct supervision, hiring, onboarding, and management of Financial Advisors (FAs) in a designated geographic region.,Ensure FAs comply with all regulatory guidelines for Mass Affluent and TDPCW offerings.,Increase Mass Affluent product sales productivity and referral productivity through active coaching and planning with Retail Bank leadership.,Accountable for assigned Mass Affluent revenue and Wealth/brokerage referral goals.,Territory management, including aligning store coverage and supporting/measuring store success.,Develop strong relationships with Wealth, TD Bank Retail, and other internal/external business partners.,Leverage networks to provide product training and sales ideas.,Support and complete complex product sales suitability and client meetings.,Act as a sales, product, and platform expert resource for the team.,Execute high-impact activities, ongoing sales/Mass Affluent product training, coaching, and project coordination.,Lead implementation of marketing programs.,Assess FA performance and provide insights on local competitive intelligence.,Team with business development executives to launch campaigns.,Participate in community and business development activities.,Accountable for team delivering financial plan proposals, sales volumes, assets, and revenue growth.,Monitor, manage, and approve expenditures; prepare financial statements and administrative reports.,Provide leadership and work with managers to develop and retain FA staff; maintain continuous FA pipeline.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience,Life/Health, Series 65, 7 and 24 licenses or ability to obtain within Licensing & Registration Schedule,Proven managerial skills,Previous sales/leadership experience,Demonstrated attention to detail and effective project management skills,Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),Demonstrated experience performing complex financial, statistical and budgetary analyses, preferably in the banking industry,Must be eligible for employment under standards established by FINRA,Satisfactory results on criminal background check, credit report check, civil litigation search, and regulatory agency or self-regulatory organization enforcement action search.
