Description

RBC is seeking a Financial Advisor Intern to cultivate and expand relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. The role involves providing proactive, professional financial advice, collaborating with internal partners, and contributing to sales and client retention by addressing complex credit and investment needs and guiding clients through key financial life events.

What We're Looking For

Communicate with clients to understand their needs and help achieve their goals.,Provide professional advice and education on complex credit and investment needs for personal and business clients.,Collaborate with financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts.,Leverage technology for client experience, sales, and retention.,Proactively resolve and prevent client banking problems.,Implement contact and relationship building strategies, support new client acquisition.,Educate clients on RBC products/services and assist with digital banking (mobile, ATM, online).

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course),Completed Certificate in Financial Services Advice, offered through the CSI (Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I),2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments,Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)

Minimum Education

Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CSI)
