The RBC Financial Advisor Intern will develop and maintain relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. This role involves providing proactive, professional financial advice across everyday banking, investments, and credit, while collaborating with RBC partners to assist clients with their financial goals and significant life events, focusing on both personal and complex business needs.

Attract, nurture, and grow relationships with high-value personal and small business clients,Provide proactive, professional advice and collaborate with RBC partners to help clients with their goals,Demonstrate empathy, kindness, and understanding in all interactions,Communicate effectively to uncover client needs, deliver client-centric advice, and resolve concerns,Utilize advice capabilities and the RBC ecosystem to meet clients' full suite of financial needs,Provide professional advice on complex credit and investments, ensuring appropriate solutions,Champion digital enablement by educating clients to self-serve and encouraging digital interaction,Implement effective contact and relationship building strategies for client acquisition and retention,Collaborate with financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts,Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course),Completed Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation (for Canada, excluding Quebec) or Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance (for Quebec),2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments,Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course),Completed Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation (Canadian Securities Institute),Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance (Canadian Securities Institute),2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices,Second language skill (Nice-to-have),Active in developing a solid network in the local community (Nice-to-have),Experience using LINX (Nice-to-have)
