Description

As an RBC Financial Advisor, you will build and maintain relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. This role involves providing proactive financial advice, collaborating with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals, and contributing to sales and client retention. Your expertise will be crucial in creating positive client experiences, whether assisting with digital banking, investment strategies for education, or borrowing needs.

What We're Looking For

Communicate with clients to understand their needs and help them achieve goals,Provide professional advice and education on complex credit and investment needs for personal and business clients,Collaborate with financial planning, retirement planning, mortgage, and business banking experts,Leverage technology to enhance client experience and drive sales and retention,Proactively resolve and prevent clients' banking problems,Implement contact and relationship building strategies, and support new client acquisition in the local community,Educate clients on RBC products and services, and assist with digital banking (mobile, ATM, online)

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course),Completed Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CSI - Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I),2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments,Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops),Fluency in a second language (Nice-to-have),Active in the local community, developing a solid network (Nice-to-have)

Minimum Education

Accreditation/Certificate (equivalent to post-secondary education in financial services)
