Description

As an RBC Financial Advisor, you will build and maintain relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. This involves providing professional advice on everyday banking, investments, and credit, collaborating with RBC partners, and actively engaging with clients to meet their financial goals and life events.

What We're Looking For

Consistently demonstrate empathy, kindness, and understanding in client interactions.

Communicate effectively to uncover client needs and provide client-centric advice and solutions.

Proactively resolve client concerns at the first point of contact.

Utilize RBC's ecosystem of partners to address clients' full range of financial needs.

Provide professional advice and education on complex credit and investments.

Champion digital enablement by educating clients on self-service options and using technology for client connections.

Implement strategies for new client acquisition and retention in the local community.

Collaborate with experts in financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking.

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)

Canada (excluding Quebec): Completed Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation (e.g., Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I)

Quebec: Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance (e.g., Fundamentals of Personal Finance – Quebec, Investment and Taxation Fundamentals – Quebec, Insurance and Retirement – Quebec)

Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships

Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
