The role involves building and growing a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management, providing financial services support, and delivering exceptional client service. As a Financial Advisor, you will act as a single point of contact for clients, helping them with financial planning for current needs and future goals, including home ownership and business setup, while adhering to CIBC’s Imperial Service approach.

What We're Looking For

Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management, financial services support, and exceptional client service.,Act as a single point of contact for clients to assist with financial planning, including day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning.,Cultivate a network to establish new client relationships and understand the local market for sales plan development.,Utilize relationship building and networking skills to generate opportunities and leverage CIBC’s range of credit and investment solutions.,Enhance CIBC brand awareness through community involvement, attending local events, and participating in marketing activities.,Be flexible to work banking centre hours, which may include evenings and weekends.,Be flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

Ideal Candidate

1 – 3 years of experience in providing financial advice to clients, establishing relationships, and achieving performance targets.,Certified professional (CIRO-MFD).,Current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC)/Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC) and meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.,For Quebec roles: Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing; Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).,Asset: CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
