This role at RBC involves building and growing relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. The Financial Advisor provides proactive financial advice across everyday banking, investments, and credit, collaborating with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals and manage life events. The role emphasizes empathy, effective communication to understand client needs, and guiding clients through digital self-service options.

What We're Looking For

Demonstrate empathy and understanding in client interactions.,Communicate effectively to uncover client needs and provide solutions.,Utilize advice capabilities and RBC ecosystem partners to meet client financial needs.,Provide professional advice on complex credit and investments suitable for client needs.,Educate clients on digital self-service and encourage digital interaction.,Use technology for virtual and face-to-face client connections.,Implement strategies for new client acquisition and retention in the local community.,Collaborate with financial planning, mortgage, and business banking experts.,Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).,Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation (for Canada excluding Quebec) or Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance (for Quebec).,2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments.,Demonstrated ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices.

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).,Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation (for Canada excluding Quebec).,Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance (for Quebec).,2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments.,Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices.,Nice-to-have: Second language skill.,Nice-to-have: Active in developing a solid network in the local community.
