Financial Advisor Associate - Burlington, Vermont

Description

The Financial Advisor Associate works with TD Wealth clients and prospects to provide wealth management advisory services. This involves analyzing financial information, understanding short and long-term financial goals, educating clients on investment and insurance strategies, and recommending personalized solutions. The role focuses on attracting, retaining, and growing a client base while acting as a fiduciary and maintaining ongoing client relationships.

What We're Looking For

Serve as primary relationship manager and financial advisor for TD Wealth clients.,Analyze client financial information and goals to provide individualized financial advice.,Educate and advise clients on investment and insurance strategies and products.,Build a client base through ongoing acquisition and retention.,Proficiently use Salesforce, Money Guide Pro, and other authorized software.,Ensure complete client onboarding experience, including financial needs analysis and documentation.,Provide education, coaching, and wealth referral training to Retail and Small Business staff.,Implement a process for periodic client contacts and annual client reviews.,Identify opportunities to refer business to Retail and Small Business/Commercial Partners.,Execute all activities in compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.,Adhere to federal, state, and SRO regulations, as well as Firm policies.,Attain all Continuing Education requirements.,Understand and adhere to TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures.,Implement TD's Customer Identification Program (CIP) and perform Customer Due Diligence.,Develop understanding of client's assets and transition higher threshold clients to HNW Wealth partners.,Contribute to a positive work environment and mentor new FAAs.,Represent TD Wealth professionally and be involved in community initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred,1+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry, relevant college degree or completion of the FAA Trainee program,SIE & Series 7 required,L&H and Series 66 (or equivalent) or the ability to obtain all within the Licensing and Registration Schedule,Must be eligible for employment under standards established by FINRA.,Satisfactory results on a criminal background check, credit report check, civil litigation search, and regulatory agency or self-regulatory organization enforcement action search.
